Jesus coming back on the Clouds
If Jesus returns; what really happened? The answer to this question is quite simple, the same thing that happened to people like Malcolm X, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr, Marcus Garvey, and Dr. Malachi Z York El, just to name a few.
The lives of Christians, and Christianity teachings revolvers around two words, belief and faith. These two words make up the foundation of the Christian's mentality. A mentality that allowed them to accept with out question the Christian's theological dogmas. One major dogmatic teaching of Christianity where these words are firmly planted, is in the concept of The Second Coming Of Christ, known by other names, such as the Second Advent and the Epiphany.
One must note that the phrase "The Second Coming" is not in the Bible. The phrase was translated from the Greek word "parousia" meaning 'appearance and subsequent presence with'; and was used in ancient times to refer to official visits by Kings, and Queens or royalty. However, the Strong's Complete Word Study Concordance defines "Parousia" as 'being near, presence'; used in the New [Second] Testament, for example, in Matthew 24:27 under the word 'Coming'.
The Second Coming of Christ, according to the Christians will fulfill God's prophecy of the Last Judgment, aspects of the Messianic prophecy such as the Resurrection of the dead, and establishing the Kingdom Of God on earth. These are some of the fulfillment's of prophecy that Christians enthusiastically still await. However, within the Christian faith lies many cults or sects with their own beliefs on the nature of The Second Coming of Christ. Even the Bible, God's words, itself, is not clear on how the Second Coming will unfold, and herein lies the problem of Christ coming back a second time.
According to the New [Second] Testament book of Acts, in Acts 1:ll, Jesus will come back in the same manner he was taken after the so-called resurrection. The manner of Jesus' return, is one of the most deferring aspect of the Second Coming dogma, among the many Christian cults/sects. In the new [Second] Testament book of first Thessalonians, chapter one verse eleven [Thessalonians 4:16] Jesus Christ "shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:". Here the Bible is clearly saying that there would be lots of noise, a dramatic event, accompany Jesus' return.
The book of Matthew, in Matthew 24:30 say there will be a sign in the sky for all people to see prior to Jesus' return, but Matthew did not specified what that sign would be. So any weird sign in the sky can be seen as the sign of Jesus' coming. These Biblical quotes leads some Christian cults to teach that many will behold Jesus' return, or be looking on while Jesus 'bust the cloud' to used their phrase. The New [second] Testament book of Titus, Titus 2:13 say Jesus will come back in a 'glorious appearing'. Glorious here come from the Greek word 'doxa' meaning "honour, praise, worship".
The books of first Thessalonians and Titus is basically saying the same thing, there will be singing, praising, worshiping on Jesus' arrival.
However, Other Christian Cults, claims that quotes like Thessalonians 4:16 is really speaking of another Christian dogma, the Rapture. This is a period of time when Jesus will return and take-up the true believers from the earth. It is not the Second Coming, which they claimed is two different things.
There are also ongoing debate within the Christian Faith about the specifics on the Rapture, when does it happened?, before, after, or during what they called the tribulation period. A period of seven years that immediately precedes Jesus return and the establishment of his 1,000 years kingdom. These seven years the Christians claim will be, for the first half [3 1/2], peace full, while the later half will be infested with tribulation, war and catastrophe. In the middle of these seven years, according to the Christians, The Antichrist will proclaiming himself god and demand the world of their worship. The funny thing about all these Christian's bickering's is, after 2,000 years of God's so-Cal teachings on earth, not God, Jesus nor the Holy Spirit have been able to make clear this dogmatic teaching to his people. Why is that? Is it because there is no God as some believe?, leaving the Christians to create their own interpretation of scriptures, or is it, that God enjoy watching humans, who he knows, are limited in their understanding fight against each other? Here are some other questions I have for you Christians who say both the Rapture and the Second Coming are different. How many times will Jesus return to earth? Will Jesus come to earth during the Rapture, return to heaven with his people, then return a third time to set up the 1,000 year Kingdom? Will he set up the kingdom first, then return for the Rapture, or, are both the Rapture and the setting up of the kingdom would happened in just one coming?
The Bible not only teach that there will be singing, shouting and trumpet blowing on Jesus' arrival, but also teach the exact opposite. The Bible teach that Jesus will come as 'a thief in the night', which some of the Christian's cults/sects hold as the true manner of Jesus' coming.
According to first Thessalonians, who's author seems unable to makeup his mind, says in chapter five verse two [1Th 5:2] that 'For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night', [ also read, Matthew 24:43-44, Luke 12:39-40, Rev 3:3, 16:15, 2Peter 3:10].
Some Christians make the claim that Jesus' coming would be a surprise. If this is true, the question would be, to whom? According to Bible, Jesus' coming will be accompanied by a sign in the sky, singing, trumpet blowing and shouting, that will be a lot of noise not to notice, don't you think?. Another point here is, if Christians have already read in their scriptures that God/Jesus says that he is coming back, and they are literally looking for his return, and they are, then his coming can not be a surprise. The surprise, if there is any, can only come from not knowing the specific time of his coming. The God they love so much never told them when he will return. What was/is he afraid of?
To come as a thief in the night, simply means to avoid detection from anyone. Thus, Jesus' followers will be surprise of his announced presence among them. This means that Jesus would be among us and we will not know until Jesus announced that he is here on earth. Now think about this, a man out of nowhere saying he is Jesus/God. If this happened, and it happened many times, then what? Let me answer this question for you.
Let suppose that Jesus is real, and use his own words, you know!!, the ones in
red, as the words to trust. Are these really his words? don't answer that. OK, according to Jesus' own words, he will come 'as a thief in the night'. This means that everyone will be surprise to learn he is here. So imagine this, a man no body really knows except his immediate family, no one knows where he really came from, Maybe he did some humble/odd job for a while, suddenly decide the time is right to announce to the world that he is Christ Jesus. Oh !!, by the way, I am Jesus of Nazareth, the son of God, come to judge the world. Who will accept this guy to be Christ? Would that be it for you? would you pack up and fallow this guy? or, would you say he is nuts. Think about it?
Ex: Ex-Traffic Cop named Sergei Torop, now known as Vissarion claims to be Jesus Christ:
Or, Jose Luis de Jesus Miranda claims he is Jesus Christ:
However, seeing that among the Christian's sects/cults where there are many different interpretations of Jesus' coming, many will no doubt believe. If you are one who believe that there will be, signs in the sky, shouting, trumpet playing, Angel singing, and praising on Jesus' return, then to you he will be nuts. However, if you hold the opposite view to be true, then he may be your guy.
Another very important aspect of the Second Coming, that will tell us who will reject or accept this guy is the question of church relation. What do I mean by that? If this guy chose to be a Catholic he will most definitely be rejected by cults/sects like the Seventday Adventist, who teach the the Catholic worship the devil. He will be the devil to the Seventday Adventist. What if he embrace the Mormon Church [The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints], which most Christian believe are not Christians? All other Christian Cults will no doubt reject him. It does not matter what Church he aliened himself with, he will be rejected by those who are not of that same Church [self-righteousness].
What if he return and stay neutral? Being part of no sects/Cults. That's a good question, but even as that he would not be accepted. Why? The Christians will say that he is not a Christian, therefore, he can not be the Christ. This will leave him to build his own cult/sect, as the guys in the videos above did, and risk being called mad, crazy, a lunatic, nuts, be jailed or even be killed. Plus there are those who are literally awaiting Jesus' return to kill him.
The truth is no one will accept Jesus - if he is real - on his return, no one. Each Christians would be looking for him to embrace their own cult/sect to be the valid Christ, and if not he will be the Antichrist to them and visa-sa-vs. With that said, maybe, just maybe, Jesus is here right now and is beeing character assassinate by the people and Media, calling him a lunatic, a nuts, or maybe he is locked up in jail, or he was here, and was assassinated.
So, what will really happened if Jesus returns? The answer is simple. The same thing that has happened to Malcolm X, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr, Marcus Garvey, and is now happening to Dr. Malachi Z York El, today, just to name a few.
If this Jesus guy is real, he'll be nuts, loco, or crazy, to come back. Think about it, would you?
